• Paint the town Green - Three weeks of green-themed events (15 May to 5 June) and activities will put environmental and sustainability issues firmly in the spotlight later this month.  Kingston's Paint the Town Green festival will feature a whole host of community events that aim to entertain, educate and inform residents.  The festival has come about thanks to a joint effort by Kingston Council, Kingston Green Fair, Save the World Club and many of Kingston's other environmental groups.

• Green Guardian awards - The Green Guardian Awards 2008 are open to anyone who lives, works or studies in the boroughs of Croydon, Kingston, Merton, Sutton, Wandsworth and Richmond.
  
  This year judges will be particularly looking at what new environmental activity entrants have engaged in since the start of the September last year.
